　　萨克斯

　　萨克斯又称萨氏管，是以发明者的名字命名的木管乐器，音色介于木管乐器和铜管乐器之间。萨克斯由比利时人阿道夫·萨克斯在1840年根据波姆式长笛的原理发明。萨克斯采用高音谱号，有#B、#E 调之分。世界第一支萨克斯是上低音E调管，当时受到了很多音乐家的认可。人们便以阿道夫·萨克斯的姓来给它命名——“萨克斯”。

　　二十世纪初，欧洲一些萨克斯演奏家移民美洲，萨克斯开始在美国等美洲国家流行。到本世纪二十年代萨克斯开始用于爵士乐队，在爵士乐里得到了充分的发挥，以至到后来成了爵士乐的代名词。得到了很多年轻人的喜爱。

　　在我国清朝末期成立了第一支管乐队，开始象征性地使用萨克斯。辛亥革命以后曾一度消失，直至二十世纪三、四十年代，才在我国的舞厅出现过，新中国成立后萨克斯连同吉它等一批西洋乐器被视为不健康的乐器，禁止引进。到七八十年代，改革开放以后，才在各种娱乐场所，以及各类传媒中频繁出现萨克斯。再加上国外的一些演奏家、乐团经常到我国演出，所以这种乐器也越来越受中国人民的喜爱。学习和演奏萨克斯的人也越来越多。我国教育部门推广各类社会教学形式的出现，以至我国大部分地区的小学生都已经开始学习萨克斯。
