走进城堡庄园的大门，是一望无际的绿色田野。不远处，一座被运河环绕的古堡就是利兹城堡。湖边的小路通向城堡的正门，四周树木环绕，树叶低垂。湖中游动的黑天鹅是城堡中一道独特的风景。

利兹城堡内

利兹城堡保留了中世纪用作防御工事的建筑。城堡主体是主人活动的主要场所，卧室、宴会厅、接待室、图书馆都对外开放。尤其是位于画廊和教堂之间的华丽宴会厅，值得一看。突出的窗棂是1517年安装的。橡木天花板和黑檀木地板是贝利夫人从法国精心挑选的。17世纪意大利风格的长木桌，据说来自一个修道院。16世纪法国风格的壁炉架，刻有胸像浮雕。英国铁后墙，铸造于英国国王爱德华四世时期。在壁炉台上，有一个17世纪的地中海花瓶和一个镶嵌着珍珠的大玻璃。火炉前有一组15世纪的意大利扶手椅，墙上挂着一幅巨大的16世纪挂毯。

穿过门口的走廊，来到客厅，这里曾经是书房。从1927年开始，这里被改成了餐厅。墙壁用**的绸缎装饰，窗户是落地式的。1949年后成为客厅，里面的家具是英国的，17、18世纪制造。大厅里有精美的中国瓷器，包括两个康熙时期的青花台灯，一对乾隆时期的胭脂鹰雕塑和五个胭脂地板花瓶。在壁炉上方，有一面有300年历史的巨大镀金法国镜。两侧用黄铜装饰的乌木书架上方，挂着两幅静物油画。

利兹城堡的园林历史可以追溯到中世纪，当时只是简单装饰，放置了一些皇家雕像，主要包括：库尔佩珀花园、贝利花园和红豆杉迷宫，它们共同构成了利兹城堡四季变幻的梦幻色彩。卡尔佩珀花园的名字是以17世纪住在这里的一家人的名字命名的。它是新加坡的一个旅游景点。1980年，它被风景园林师重新设计，成为利兹城堡附近一个富有乡村气息的小花园。贝利夫人的花园洋溢着地中海风格；红豆杉迷宫是以红豆杉为主的人工景观。
