一、interest的词义辨析：

interest, amuse, please这三个词的共同意思是“使人感兴趣”。其区别在于:

1、interest意为“引起兴趣,使人感兴趣”,着重于“引起”; 

2、amuse意为“给…娱乐,消遣”,在被动句中,后面跟介词at, by, with引出的短语或动词不定式;

你如果想用高级一点的就用develop相关的，因为 be interested in 这个词组现在已经被用烂了。

我觉得可以 develop a greater/deeper interest in sth 这里的interest 是名词，比前面那个短语要高级一点。
