米哈伊尔·尤里耶维奇·莱蒙托夫（俄语：Михаил Юрьевич Лермонтов；1814年10月15日-1841年7月27日） [1] ，是继普希金之后俄国又一位伟大诗人。被别林斯基誉为“民族诗人”。

莱蒙托夫的童年和少年时代是在塔尔罕内度过的。他自幼受到良好的教育，天资聪颖通晓多种外语，在艺术方面也很有天分。后来考入莫斯科大学，经过一段时间学习后转入圣彼得堡近卫军骑兵士官学校。

1841年7月27日，他因病到皮亚季戈尔斯克疗养，和这里的退伍少校马丁诺夫决斗而死，年仅27岁。 外祖母将其安葬在塔尔罕内。

父亲尤里·彼得罗维奇·莱蒙托夫是退役军官，母亲玛利亚·米哈伊洛夫娜早逝，由外祖母家抚养长大，童年是在奔萨省阿尔谢尼耶娃的塔尔罕内庄园中度过，自幼体弱多病，能说流利的法语和德语。1827年全家搬到莫斯科，1828年进入莫斯科贵族寄宿中学，着手研究普希金和拜伦，开始从事写诗创作，这时期的主要作品有《海盗》、《罪犯》、《奥列格》。

1830年3月，莫斯科寄宿学校改为普通中学，莱蒙托夫请求退学，并前往斯托雷平家族的谢列德尼科沃庄园，同年考入莫斯科大学。在友人A·M·韦列夏金娜的家中结识E·A·苏什科娃，并与之热恋。这时期开始抒情诗的创作，但他不断地移情别恋，又爱上了剧作家伊万诺夫的女儿伊万诺娃。1832年，前往圣彼得堡。同年11月通过近卫士官生入学考试。1835年，成为禁军骠骑兵团骑兵少尉。1837年1月27日普希金在决斗中受了重伤，29日死亡，莱蒙托夫得知消息后悲愤至极，写下了《诗人之死》，激怒了沙皇。1837年2月18日莱蒙托夫被捕，调任下诺夫哥罗德高加索骑兵团准尉，足迹遍布舒沙、库巴、舍马哈、卡赫季。由于外祖母的奔走，1838年4月回到彼得堡。1840年生平唯一一部诗集发行。1840年2月，与法国公使之子巴兰特发生冲突，莱蒙托夫朝天放了一枪，被交付军事法庭。1840年4月，调往高加索现役军队田加骑兵团，第二次流放高加索。7月参与了高加索山民战斗和瓦列里克战役。1841年2月初，返回彼得堡，其英勇事迹备受肯定。1841年4月回到高加索。

1841年7月27日，在皮亚季戈尔斯克市近郊旁的马舒克山麓，韦尔济林的家庭晚会上，莱蒙托夫的玩笑激怒了士官生学校同学马丁诺夫，虚荣心很强的马丁诺夫要求决斗。莱蒙托夫没有开枪，结果马丁诺夫一枪击中了莱蒙托夫的心脏，当场身亡，年仅27岁。外祖母将其安葬在塔尔罕内。
