倭黑猩猩的手足之争

你曾嫉妒你兄弟姐妹的成功吗？坎奇嫉妒。长期以来他都是位于亚特兰大的语言研究中心惟一的“明星”。他是一只倭黑猩猩——一种矮小的黑猩猩。

坎奇会用键盘，会吹气球，会在计算机上用游戏杆解开复杂的迷宫和智力题，会制作石器，还能理解非常难的句子。此外，他还有舞台风度和超凡魅力，并乐于在镜头前表演。有摄制组来访的时候，他们通常都对他妹妹潘芭妮莎不感兴趣，他们只想拍他。一旦拍摄结束，当坎奇早晨醒来发现摄制组已经离开，便会心烦意乱，拒绝离开卧室。有一次摄影师来给他拍照时，坎奇刚好患了流感，但表演必须继续。这位倭黑猩猩揩去鼻涕，擦干净胸脯，假模假式地摆出腰板挺直、高昂着头、照侧面像的坐姿，并在咔嚓咔嚓拍照时始终保持着这种姿势。拍完照后，坎奇再度颓然倒下，陷入高烧。

虎鲸母亲：给孩子一点自由

沉默绝望的生活
