陈彩莲是上海交大的教授。她于2006年获得香港城市大学控制与系统专业博士学位,同年担任香港城市大学制造工程与工程管理学系高级副研究员。然后在2018年5月28日与丈夫关新平在上海完婚,之后可能在上海交通大学任教。

关新平和陈彩莲两人与香港城市大学冯刚教授、孙东博士合作,完成了一系列课题研究。关新平和陈彩莲是同事关系,陈彩莲博士、关新平教授均是燕山大学的老师,两人都是国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,两人在自动化领域都是尖端人才。
