《邂逅》是一首以南音为素材，同族群乐器高、中、低音琵琶和南琶组成的五重小协奏形式的室内乐作品。琵琶室内乐这一集创作、教学、人才培养和舞台实践为一体的新的形式，是杨靖教授近些年来潜心探索、研究和推广的，基于琵琶传统教学模式的创新。在为这一新形式而委约创作的一系列作品中。

《邂逅》这首作品将传统与现代的音乐元素巧妙的结合融汇，使本人在学习和演奏的过程中受益良多。本论文基于对大量相关专著、论文资料的学习、参考及分析，并整理杨靖教授、指挥家刘顺，作曲家王丹红，南音传承人曾家阳采访录音等，拟从《邂逅》的创作背景、演奏以及对琵琶教学的作用三方面对此曲进行阐述。第一部分著名青年作曲家王丹红创作的《邂逅》这部作品，是以南音为创作元素，为一把南琶与四把北琶组成的同族群琵琶室内乐量身定做。
