Feather羽裂纹/羽状纹

钻石内部或延伸至内部的小裂缝或断裂，形似羽毛。“羽状纹的大小形状千差万别，可以是封闭在钻石内部的也可与钻石表面连通，常有一个相对平整的面，也可以是凹凸起伏的”。羽裂纹内含物多为无色透明（几乎看不见），但通过光照能看到白色的羽毛状形态。它们也有乳白色的，还有些面上有黑色炭质薄膜，看似深色含晶，这是因钻石因张力出现裂缝时，内部压力骤减而使自身部分转变为石墨。严重的羽裂纹会影响钻石的“寿命”（耐久性）。

针点通常是一些细小的矿物颗粒，一般用10倍放大镜观察也无法清晰观察它们的具体形状。更微小的点状包体在高倍显微镜下也都很难被发现，所以若是在人工净度检测而出具的钻石4C证书获得了高净度级别的钻石，消费者应该在专业人士/仪器辅助下特别注意看看有没有这种包体的存在，确认钻石不会因为检测疏漏而起始位较低净度级别的钻石。
