　我原本想以一个简单的请求开场。我请求在座的各位思考片刻，你们这群可悲的懦夫，扪心自问，审视一下自身可怜的存在。

　其实这正是5世纪时圣本笃给信众的建议，可以想见，当时他们必定相当惊诧。而在我40岁的时候我也决定采纳并实施这个建议。在那之前，我绝对是个典型的业务精英——我吃的太多，喝得太多，工作太努力，我忽视了自己的家庭。

　于是我决定试着改变我的生活。而且我决定我要尝试处理一个棘手的问题：即工作与生活的平衡。于是我递交辞呈，赋闲在家，与妻子和四个儿子相处了一年。

　但是在那一年中关于工作与生活平衡这个问题，我唯一的收获是：如果我不工作，这个问题就会迎刃而解。这的确不怎么管用，尤其是缺钱的时候。

　所以我回到工作岗位，七年以来我的挣扎，学习与写作都围绕着工作与生活的平衡这个主题。今天我想跟各位分享四点心得。

　第一：如果在这一问题上想要获得实质性的进展，那么我们需要一个诚恳的探讨。

　但问题是在这一问题上，人们大多沉浸在毫无意义的争论之中。无论是弹性时间还是星期五的休闲装政策亦或是育儿假，这些都只是进一步掩盖了核心问题，即某些职业和某些职业选择从根本上讲就与每天与自己的家庭亲密相处这一生活方式水火不容。

　要解决任何问题，都必须首先认清自己所处的境况。而现实社会中的情况是成千上万的人们都在无声的绝望中煎熬。他们夜以继日的从事他们痛恨的职业目的只是为了购买无用的商品以博得无关痛痒的邻人的艳羡。

　我的观点是，星期五穿牛仔体恤并不能解决关键问题。

　我想分享的第二点心得是，我们必须面对现实：政府和公司不会为我们解决这一问题。

　我们不能再寻找外援，而应该作为个人承担起掌控自己生活轨迹的重任。如果你不规划自己的生活，那么别人就会为你规划，而他们对于平衡的处理你往往并不认同。

　最重要的是——这东西不会传到互联网上吧，要不然我可要被解雇了——最重要的是，你绝不能让商业公司来掌控你生活的质量。我指的并不仅仅是那些糟糕的公司——我把那些公司叫做人类灵魂的屠宰场。我指的是所有的公司。

　因为商业公司本质上就是为了尽可能多的榨取你的价值而同时尽量逃避责任。这是深植于商业公司之中的基因。它们以此立足——包括那些好的，有善心的公司。

　一方面，在工作场所开办儿童保育中心是个很妙的，具有启发性的好主意。另一方面，这同时是个噩梦;因为这意味着你得在万恶的办公室里耗上更多时间。我们自己得担起责任去设定并强化我们生活中的各种界限。

　第三点是，我们得好好考虑，以什么样的时间单位来衡量我们试图实现的平衡。

　在一年赋闲时就在我回到工作岗位之前，我坐下来细细地一步一步地勾勒了一幅我向往的完美一天的理想蓝图。

　具体如下：充足的睡眠之后，精神抖擞的醒来。做爱。遛狗。与妻儿共进早餐。做爱。

　上班的途中送孩子去学校。工作三小时。午休时和朋友玩玩体育。再工作三小时。下午和老伙计们在酒吧喝两杯。回家，与妻儿共进晚餐。花半个小时静修思考。做爱。遛狗。做爱。上床睡觉。

　你觉得我多久能享受如此的一天我们当然要实际一些。你不可能在一天内实现这一切。我们得把时间单位拉长来衡量我们期望的平衡，但是这一拉长也不是没有限度的。

　比如，你最好别说：“我会享受生活的，当我退休了，当子女也都独立，当妻子已弃我而去，当我的身体大不如前，当我已没有朋友，也没有任何兴趣爱好。”一天太短，退休又太长。肯定会有折中的办法。

　第四点心得：要实现平衡，我们得采取“平衡”的办法。

　去年我有个朋友来找我——她不介意我公开这个故事——去年她来我这儿，她说：

　“奈吉尔，我看了你的书。我意识到我的生活完全没有平衡可言。它完全被无休止的工作占据。我每天工作10小时，路上就要花2小时。我的人际关系总是失败。在我生活中除了工作，没有别的。所以我决定得振作起来改观我的生活。于是我加入了健身俱乐部。”

　我不是要嘲笑她，但是一个“健康”的每天工作10小时的办公室职员并不会让她更“平衡”，而只能更“健康”。健身运动的确是不错，但生活的含义其实很丰富。

　知性生活，情感生活，精神生活。如果想达到平衡，我觉得我们得关照以上的各个方面——仅仅50个仰卧起坐是不够的。

　这可能看起来相当艰巨。人们会说：“拜托伙计，我连锻炼的时间都没有，你却要我去教堂、给老妈打电话。”我很理解。我真的很理解，对人们来说这的确挺艰巨。

　但两年前有件小事却给了我一个崭新的视角。

　我妻子就坐在下面一天她给我的办公室打电话说“奈吉尔，你得去学校接我们的小儿子哈里。”因为那天晚上她和其他三个孩子在一起。于是那天下午我提前一小时下班在校门口接到哈里。我们去了公园，在秋千上闹了一阵，做了些傻傻的游戏。

　然后我带他上了一座小山到了当地的一家咖啡馆，我们点了茶和比萨，吃完就下山回家，我给他洗了个澡，给他穿上蝙蝠侠睡衣。然后我给他读了一章RoaldDahl的《詹姆斯与飞天巨桃》。然后我铺好床，安顿好他，吻了他的额头，说了声“晚安，伙计。”

　然后走出他的卧室。正当我走到门口的时候，他叫了声老爸。“什么事，伙计”他说，“老爸，这是我一生中最棒的一天，最棒的。”其实我什么也没做。我没带他去迪斯尼乐园，也没给他买游戏机。

　我想说的是，小事并非无关紧要。在生活中实现平衡并不意味着你要大张旗鼓的颠覆你的生活。在适当的地方做些小小的投资，你就能极大地改善你的人际关系和生活质量。不仅如此，我认为这还能改变整个社会。

　大家好，我是汪涵。来自湖南电视台的一位节目主持人。我做主持人18年了，主持了18年的节目，像这样的舞台，这样的灯光，这样熟悉的摄像师，这样的观众，这样的氛围我应该特别的熟。但是今天，一个人站在这个舞台上的感觉非常的奇妙，甚至说奇怪，还好有你们，有现场诸位亲爱的观众朋友。所以我说主持人站在舞台上应该像春风一样，它能让舞台上所有的一切变的那么的自然，那么的妥帖。

　就像顾城的诗写得一样：草在结它的子，风在摇它的叶，我们站着，什么都不说，就十分美好。我有时候特别希望，我在舞台上站着，什么都不说，就十分美好。美国有一位特别有名的艺术家叫约翰凯奇，他在一九五几年的时候写过一部钢琴曲，名字叫做《四分三十三秒》。作品是这样的。演奏家站上舞台，打开琴盖放上琴谱，端坐好了以后，四分三十三秒之内，有指头没有触碰一下琴键，一直静静地坐着。

　头十秒钟大家在等待，有可能这个钢琴师他在酝酿情感，慢慢地有一些躁动，慢慢地有人打哈欠了，慢慢地有各种各样的声音，到了四分三十三秒，钢琴师起来，收起琴谱然后盖上琴盖说，我的演出完毕，走了。全场莫名其妙，但是安静下来以后，所有的观众体会到，虽然那一刻什么声音都没有，但是他们听到了琴键以外的音乐，自己的心跳，呼吸，小声地议论，些许的烦躁，所有的这一切放佛变成了《四分三十三秒》当中的音乐的每一个组成部分。

　其实，我在这里特别想和年轻朋友分享的就是，不要轻视行动的力量，也不要轻视个人的力量。用心的去做你认为该做的每一件事情。就像我最开始，我大概是96 年中专毕业，我没有读过大学，湖南电视播音专科学校。我当时进到湖南电视台的节目叫做《男孩女孩》，我们当时就根本没有节目可做，就这么一个栏目，每天大家上午就开会，然后中午到食堂吃饭，下午又开会，然后在办公室睡觉，然后又开会。

　但是我觉得那样的生活对于一个刚刚从学校毕业的年轻人来说特别的新奇。但是后来打了很多次报告都没有留在湖南台。然后我就去了湖南经视，就是到目前为止，依然我的人事关系还在的哪个电视台，湖南的一个地面频道。我特别珍惜一个称谓，我想我作为一个最优秀的节目主持人后面没有之一的话，很难。但是我可以做湖南经视最忠诚的员工，我愿意在这里呆十年二十年，拿下这个称号。

　我在这个电视台，一进去开始做剧务，当时我们剧务组有两个，我们两个彼此认为是最帅的剧务，我和李维嘉。做剧务的时候我们俩是最快乐的剧务，每天往这个演播厅扛椅子，扛椅子的时候我们俩就在想，今天我抗的椅子有可能会是毛宁做过的。维嘉说，那我这个还有可能是林依轮做的呢。

　两个人每天有很多特别开心的事情。我们那个时候现场256个观众，每个观众来看节目的时候有个塑料袋，每一个塑料袋里有50多件礼品，我就负责每天录节目的时候往每个观众席放礼品，卤蛋粉，电灯泡，水龙头，面条，酱油，每天就做的特别快乐，因为我知道放不完的面条我可以带回家。然后后来我就当了现场导演，跟现场所有的观众朋友将一些笑话活跃现场的气氛，带领全场的朋友鼓掌。

　当然我们今天的现场的掌声全都是大家自发的，我们那时候要带领大家鼓掌。我那时候当现场导演的时候我是每期鼓掌鼓得最厉害的。我记得又一次我们的台长到现场来看节目。“哪儿来的现场导演，这小伙子，你过来。”我就过去了。“台长你好。”“把俩手伸出来。”我说：“啊怎么做节目还带检查指甲盖洗没洗干净的。”一伸手，手拍得特别红。他说：“你们看，这个现场导演多么的投入，鼓掌鼓的多么的卖力。”我当时特别的快乐，因为所有的人靠去看当时的那个综艺节目要花很大的精力，求爷爷告奶奶得拿到一张票，我常常都在里面，特别的快乐。

　后来又当导演，可以让我特别欣赏的节目主持人按照我的想法去做节目，哇，还有什么比这更开心的。没过多久台里面做内部的晚会，说汪涵是学播音主持的，你让他去试试吧。哇，可是在全台同事的面前主持节目，开心得不得了。当时做了一个节目叫做《真情》，台长就问我们当时的一个节目主持人，“汪涵当搭档可以吗”“可以。”然后还问了我们的一个灯光师。 “小廖，你觉得汪涵可以吗”“不错!暖场的时候全场的观众都乐成那样，让他去吧。”太开心了，我可以当主持人了。

　所有的每件事情，都是我心里觉得我应该去这么做，而且这么做我特别特别地开心，不管是什么情况，我都接受。比如说今天的灯光，突然间没有往昔那么好了，今天的摄像不是你以往熟悉的，今天你化完妆之后总觉得你今天的黑眼袋比平常大很多，今天的'嘉宾，今天的台本，今天所有的一切都那么不如意，赶快在内心鼓掌，因为你的机会来了。

　我一定要学会很好的忍耐，这样的一个特别尴尬或者是特别难堪的局面，我一定要扛下去，因为面对困难无非三点：第一，度过了这个困难，你有度过困难的智慧;你面对困难，你有了面对困难的勇气，你绕过困难，你有了绕过困难的狡猾。多好。你还要生命教你什么，你还要这个舞台教你什么。就像塞内加曾经说过这样的一句话：何必为部分生活而哭泣，君不见全部的人生都催人泪下。

　但是我想，他所呈现的应该是这样的一种情绪，既然我们都知道最终的结束是那样，我们为何不开开心心的、欢声雀跃的，一碰一跳的能够朝着那样一个归宿去。因为我们心里面充满了太多太多的对这个世界上认知的美好。叔本华好像也说过同样类型的话，如果你自己的眼神关注的是整体而非个人的一己的生命的话，那么你的行为举止看起来会更像是一个智者，而不是一个受难者。

　所以我特别在这里要花这么长的时间，跟我所有的的年轻的朋友分享的就是，不管怎么样，我们还这么健康，不管怎么样，我们还能够这么自由的呼吸也好，鼓掌也好，做你想做的任何事情也好，你什么都不会失去。即算你有一天经过了所有的东西，你会觉得，哇，生命太苦难了。恭喜你，你知道生命苦难了，很多哲学家穷其一生，就是为了告诉大家其实生命有多么的苦难，我们应该多么用微笑去面对它。

　我今年40岁，当然我得到了太多太多，得到了我很多受之有愧的观众给我的掌声和喜爱。因为我个人觉得在电视台，主持人只是最后一个完成者，如果我们今天现场没有灯光师，没有摄像，没有化妆师，没有音频师，这个节目完全不可能呈现在大家面前。但是所有的鲜花掌声给了我们，所以我觉得受之有愧。舍得这个词我去查了一下，最开始阎王爷那时候好像在天上，有两个人说要投胎到人间去，有两种人生，一种是舍的人生，一种是得的人生。

　我的发言分四个部分:汇报班级情况，交流三个问题，几点温馨提示。

　一、首先,跟大家汇报一下班级学生现状

　1班级学生现状

　我们班总共 名学生，上周我校进行了半期考试。我把半期英语考试的情况简单向各位家长作个汇报。平均分 分，优生 人，优生率 %。排名前十名的有 ;与九月份第一次月考相比，进步较大的学生有 。通过高中半期的学习，大多数学生都具有良好的英语学习习惯。学习积极性较高，能够自觉完成老师布臵的作业，深知英语学科在整个高中课程的重要性。

　2存在问题:

　1)早读课容易瞌睡，每天晚上加夜班的同学比较多，导致早上精神状态不好。

　2)部分学生的学习方式仍然停留在初中甚至小学阶段，从不自觉主动地去学习(从他们对作业的认识和处理方式上就可以看出来)

　3)部分学生抄袭作业，少数学生作业拖拉甚至不交作业

　4、正确看待、冷静分析这次考试成绩

　二、其次，想跟大家交流四个问题

　1首先和大家交流一个问题：孩子上了高中以后，总有一部分家长很纳闷：我家的孩子在小学能考到八九十分，初中也能考到七八十分，为什么到了高中，成绩不令人满意，甚至有些失望呢

　这个问题的答案首先与各个学习阶段的特点有关：小学阶段以赏识教育为主，要在很小的时候培养学生的自信心，试卷内容大多与课本有关，因此考试分数自然会很高。初中则是以普及教育为主，考试会照顾到大部分学生，因此分数也较高。但是，高中教育，特别是在以高考为最终目标的大背景下，就是以选拔为目的了，所以，考试难度与深度会有很大的提升，得分率自然就会下降，孩子们的考试分数自然会低一些。所以拿初中甚至小学的分数来衡量孩子们高中的学习，是不科学的。

　其次，与学生自身的学习方式和学习习惯有关：高中阶段学习科目多而且难，要求学生必须学会自主学习(自觉主动地去学习)，即变“要我学”为“我要学”，再也不能像初中甚至小学那样靠老师和家长盯着学，那样成绩自然会下降。

　2第二个问题，为什么同一个班级的孩子三年后成绩差别那么大成绩进步大的一定是那些学习习惯和个性好的孩子。孩子为什么会这样，其实因素很多，这不仅仅与学习基础有关，最主要的是与孩子的心态、学习方式及学习习惯密切相关。学生的学习方式及习惯是极其重要的，直接影响和决定学生的成绩。不要到高三时才感慨，现在我们不是不想学，而是在高一、高二时没有养成良好的学习习惯，没能改变自己的学习方式以适应高中的学习，现在只能是心有余而力不足。因此，现在必须努力学习。

　在此，我希望家长们要时时关注孩子的学习习惯和个性，也就是情商问题。大量的实例证明了一个人的成功主要取决于情商，其次才是智商，两者的比例大概是7:3。既然知道英语学科举足轻重，就必须爱英语，以十足的干劲学好英语。

　3第二个问题，请家长们正确看待孩子在班级的考试名次，当孩子名次退步时，原因是多方面的，首先帮助他树立信心，然后一起帮助分析原因，而不要盲目地批评甚至打骂孩子。“望子成龙，望女成凤”是我们共同的心愿，但在高一更应注重孩子学习习惯的培养、学习方式的转变，让孩子快乐的成长进步，严格遵循教育教学规律。

　4有些孩子还没有适应高中的学习，还不知道高中阶段怎么学，希望家长们高度关注。高中学习科目多而难，时间紧，主要靠学生自主和自觉地学习，老师主要是引导和辅导、检查和督促，而不像初中那样盯着你学习。说明学生在学习目的、学习兴趣上还需培养。

　订正的习惯，督促学生建立错题集，当堂发现的问题，当堂订正，不拖拉，不滞留，将问题解决在发现之处，从而保证知识点的连接，为建立学科知识体系做保障。这些习惯，会让学生真正的乐学、好学，在成功中追求快乐，在快乐中追求成功!

　三、我想对在座的各位家长提出几点温馨提示。

　1、温馨提示1

　(1)帮助孩子确定适当目标

　和孩子一起确定一个他能够达到的目标——家长适度的期望值。

　孩子是家长的希望，教育好孩子是老师的希望。父母对孩子期望值的高低直接影响孩子将来所取得成就的大小。期望值一定要有，而且要恰到好处。

　期望值过高：孩子拼命按家长的意愿生活、学习，也许父母感到满足，但孩子生活得较为压抑，甚至影响心理健康。尽力后仍达不到家长的要求，双方均失望，可能导致孩子自暴自弃;

　期望值过低或没有：家长对尚不自觉的孩子期望值过低或没有，孩子会缺少外在精神支持，认为不重视、无所谓。

　适度的期望值：在原有基础上适当拔高，不操之过急，不高不攀，否则可能大家都失望。

　(2)帮助孩子增强自信心

　(3)关注孩子成绩的变化(即名次的升降)而不是绝对名次

　(4)沟通---多倾听孩子的诉说

　(5)多和老师尤其是班主任联系，及时了解情况，积极配合班主任和老师做好孩子的思想工作

　只有有效的家校联动(沟通与合作)，才能教育好学生。

　(6)注重学生学习习惯和学习能力的培养，使学生养成良好的学习习惯

　2、温馨提醒2

　给家长的几点建议：

　每天付出多一些……

　多一些问候(在孩子累了的时候)

　多一些帮助(在孩子需要的时候)

　多一些关心(在孩子软弱的时候)

　多一些鼓励(在孩子泄气的时候)

　1)高一是基础，希望这次考试成绩不理想的学生家长要高度关注，尽快想法提高学生的成绩，到了高二、高三要想提高就很难了，因为一方面学习任务越来越重，另一方面学生的自信心和兴趣应尽早树立(他们中有一部分人的自信心在初中已经受到打击)

　1英语课堂学习应该注重课堂学习效果，45分钟非常宝贵且有限，我们力争要在这短短的时间内掌握所有的英语知识。英语当天学习的内容应该当天消化，如果不能及时消化就会积食，造成听课越听越不懂，形成恶性循环!英语学习重在平时，每天做好预习与复习工作。想要靠临时突击，临时抱佛脚的做法不可取也不可行。

　我确信：英语要学好和智商无关，学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人。所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面下功夫。

　2作业一定要按时独立完成，不要成为学习上的“寄生虫”。作业是老师检查了解学生知识掌握情况的一个有效途径，要求同学们能如实客观地对待作业。知之为知之，不知为不知，宁愿独立完成的空几题的作业，也比完全不经过自己大脑思考抄袭来的作业质量高得多。许多同学自觉性差，平时空空两手回家，早上早早赶来抄，每天我都布置了一定的英语作业，因此请各位家长能关注一下你的子女有没有将作业带回家来做，并督促子女认真复习。

　3学习习惯是第一生产力。许多同学英语学习好，并不是他(她)比别人聪明，而是学习习惯比较好。良好的学习习惯可以大大提高你的学习效果，我们班的刘里杰，姜艳芳，李辉龙，李柯欧等同学，她们学习态度端正，上课认真，书写工整，正因为如此，无论什么考试都能取得很好的成绩，这与她平时良好的学习习惯是分不开的!而有些同学你看似认真，却是身在心不在，学习重在表象，完全不扎实，综合素质却没有真正提高。课外也不下功夫，一堂课几个单词，一两个重点句型下节课过来提问一问三不知，又何谈课外扩展与素质提升这样的现象很普遍，说到底，还是好的习惯没有养成，不够勤奋。另外还有几个同学，他们的潜力很大，但因为还不够认真刻苦，所以没有发挥出自己最好的水平，希望家长能够配合老师，把孩子的成绩抓上去。我坚信：如果您的孩子在您的支持和我的指导下能够及时完成老师布置的任务，那么一定能学好。要教导您的孩子一开始就要有吃苦耐劳的精神。坚持严谨的学习作风，成绩马上就会见效。
