新西兰毛利战舞有什么意义，为何能用来祭奠死者，还能用来求婚?

从名字上我们就不难看出“毛利战舞”从某种程度上来看有鼓舞士气的作用，我想大部分人对这个舞蹈的印象应该是停留在男子篮球比赛上，美国球队跟新西兰球队比赛的时候，开场前每对都会有拉拉队鼓舞士气，当新西兰的毛利战舞出来后，美国球队表示十分震惊，虽然新西兰比赛还是失败了，但是在某种程度上确实对毛利战舞的一种宣传。

毛利战舞和很多舞种一样，也是一个国家文化的象征，这个就算是新西兰的一种民族舞蹈，动作一般比较大，让人们看起来感觉很用力，一般就是大跨步，拍胸膛等等甚至会有狰狞的面部表情，虽然如此这样不堪入目，但是寓意确实很好的。

传说太阳之父和自己的妻子相爱之后，有了自己的孩子，是一个可爱的小男孩，但是小男孩出生之后，母亲却因为自身的原因死了，所以为了纪念自己的母亲，他在炎热的夏天舞动身体让自己发热，这种温度就感觉母亲还在自己身边一样。

大概就是从这以后，祭奠死人甚至求婚都会看到他们在跳毛利战舞，虽然这两件事情在一定程度上没有什么关联甚至寓意相反，但是这是一种传统，既是对去世人的一种悼念，更是对美好事情的祝福，由此可见，粗鲁的毛利人也有如此细腻的文化艺术，毛利战舞不仅仅只是一种传统文化的传承，更多的是一个国家的象征。
