欧洲当地时间3月20日下午，欧足联正式宣布了2014年欧洲冠军联赛决赛的比赛场地。葡萄牙豪门本菲卡的主场光明球场被定为2013-14赛季欧洲冠军联赛的最终比赛场地，同年的欧联杯决赛则将在尤文图斯的新阿尔卑球场举行。

当地时间3月20日，欧足联召开了执委会议，在会上讨论了多项未来几年的比赛计划和比赛地点安排，其中最重要的一条是确定了2013-14赛季欧冠和欧联的两项决赛主办地。葡萄牙里斯本的光明球场被定为2014年欧冠决赛球场，意大利都灵的尤文图斯新阿尔卑球场被定为2014年欧联杯的决赛场地。

光明球场2003年10月落成，是承办2004年欧洲杯赛时葡萄牙新建的球场之一，也是葡萄牙豪门俱乐部本菲卡的主场。光明球场可容纳65647名观众，拥有156间豪华包厢。光明球场的草皮场105米、宽68米，是欧洲顶级的球场之一。葡萄牙的里斯本市曾于1966-67赛季举办过冠军杯的决赛，当时的凯尔特人2-1战胜国际米兰夺得冠军杯的冠军。
