现代心理学家认为，一个人的成功，80%取决于非智力因素——情感因素。情感是人类特有的一种心理现象，是人们对客观事物是否符合自己的需要而产生的体验。情感具有激活智力、动力、调节、感染和移情的作用。感情能调节学生的自信心和学习焦虑感。良好的情感氛围可以调动学生参与课堂活动的积极性。在以传授知识为主的教学过程中培养情感态度，渗透情感交流，以情感人，不断激发学生渴求知识的愿望，使其主动地投入学习中，就会收到事半功倍的效果。那么，在教学过程中该怎样进行情感培养，渗透情感交流，提高教学质量呢？

在教学过程中，作为主导者的教师应充分认识到：学生正处于心理发展的关键时期，学习状态极易受情感因素的影响。学生对教师的情感能直接影响甚至决定他们的学习态度和学习效果。为此，教师要努力克服情感因素对学生的负面影响，从根本上提高自身素质和个人魅力，让学生身心健康地参与课堂教学活动，提高学习效率。

发展学生积极向上的情感态度，是基础教育阶段英语课程教学的目标之一。因为在学习中，兴趣、动机、信心、意志及合作精神与语言有密切的关系。这诸多影响学生学习过程和学习效果的相关因素在很大程度上需要通过语言表达，因此，借助于语言，可有效沟通情感，增进友谊，建立良好的人际关系。反之，情感态度又影响着语言学习，积极向上的情感态度有利于学生克服英语学习中遇到的困难，提高学习效率；消极的情感则会影响学生学习及潜力的正常发挥。因此，英语教师必须关注学生情感态度的培养，并在课堂上渗透情感交流。

一、尊重学生，建立和谐的师生关系

平等的师生关系是搞好课堂教学的前提，是开启学生心灵的钥匙，关键是相互尊重。教师必须尊重每一位学生做人的尊严和价值，尤其是学习成绩差、有严重缺点和缺陷及有过错的学生。教师要从这些学生身上找到他们的闪光点，及时给予真诚的赞美和鼓励，鼓舞他们进步，并让他们感受到教师和集体的关心和爱护。

二、改变教学方式，发挥学生的主体地位

彻底摈弃传统的以教师为主体的教学模式，重视对学生思维方式的启发和诱导，给学生想象的空间和发表见解的机会，以求得学生的个性发展。在此过程中，教师要引导学生明确学习目标，形成有效的学习方式，营造良好的学习氛围，从而帮助学生发现学习的规律和自己的能力。同时，教师必须引导学生正确地接人待物，明辨是非，积极进取。

三、更新教学观念，重视师生交流

教学是一种双边活动过程，老师应充分考虑学生的心理活动。学生只有在一种充分交流的民主氛围中，才能怀着浓厚的兴趣学习，带着好奇心研究。新世纪的教师应更新教育观念，改进教学方法，在教学中重视加强与学生间的交流，了解学生，热爱学生，和学生沟通感情，充分调动主体性和积极性，创设和谐的教学情境。

四、调动兴趣，促进学生间的交流与合作

在教师的引导和帮助下，要让学生自发地钻研，自主地探究。最切实的办法的是让他们在学习活动中彼此交流合作，共同完成老师布置的任务。现行初中英语教材Go for it中出现的大量Pair work和Group work的内容，充分适应了这一要求。教师应在这方面设法激发学生的兴趣，让学生都积极参与。这类分角色，分任务的练习不仅有利于活跃课堂气氛，更有利于学生思维的扩展，增进学生之间的了解。

五、建立情感态度的沟通与交流渠道

要真正实现师生之间、学生之间的情感交流，就要建立有效的沟通与交流渠道。如在日常英语口语练习中体现出关心学生生活及学习中出现的问题，耐心帮助其解答情感困惑，及时克服困难，使语言学习上的成功体验与情感态度的发展互相促进。

每个人都渴望成功，即使一个小小的成功，也会增强人的自信心和热情，鼓励人们追逐更高的目标。在教学中，教师要根据不同类型的学生，提出不同的学习要求，给他们展示自己、表现自己的机会，达到要求时给予肯定和表扬，并不断鼓励他们，让学生经常体会到成功的喜悦，增强自信心。在教学中，对于一些缺乏自信、羞于发言的学生，我经常设置一些难度不大的问题让他们解答，并不失时机地对他们加以鼓励和肯定。有时，教师一个默许的眼神，一句鼓励的话，一声由衷的赞许，都会极大地调动学生学习英语的积极性，使他们树立起学好英语的信心。

总之，在英语教学中，要注意关注学生的情感因素，重视进行情感教学，培养积极的情感态度，激发学习兴趣，提高其自信心和意志力，最终取得英语学习的成功，这也是教师的最大成功。“教贵情深”，只有在和谐的情感氛围中进行情感交流，课堂才会充满生机和活力。在课堂教学中，教师要不断地探索调控课堂教学氛围的艺术，这样就会在轻松愉快的课堂氛围中达到最佳效果。英语教师绝不能只强调语言知识和语言技能的掌握，还应该注重培养学生积极向上的情感态度，从而促进学生学习意识和个性品质的健康发展及全面进步。
