由于美国高达50％的离婚率，《消防员》一片被众多的婚姻杂志和电视节目大力推介给观众，有人说推荐给已婚人士，有男女朋友的亦可，当然了也有人说此片是部严重的说教闷片（由于宣扬基督教“上帝搞定一切”的缘故吧）。个人感觉影片不足之处是男主角caleb竭尽全力的挽回他们的婚姻。而catherine几孚甚么也没做，甚至还偏执地拒绝丈夫的善意，让人很难理解。部分情节、台词略显生硬，但仍不失为一部好**。如果你有空闲时间，不妨看看这部影片，相信你应该会从中获益良多。
